? Zoirée ~ A Celebration of Ecstatic Queerness
Saturday July 12, 2025 | 7:30–10:30 PM
The Beaumont Studios, Coast Salish Territory / Vancouver

Come as you are. Leave a little more you.
Zoirée is a magical one-night gathering of queer connection, ecstatic dance, and joyful celebration. Join us to explore freedom of expression as you connect with yourself, with each other, and with the world. Whether you are new to “queer” spaces or rooted in them, you are welcome. Let’s honour the beauty of human queerness in its many forms!

Tickets available at the Eventbrite link. You choose your ticket price (suggested contribution of $25 – $40 to cover costs).
In our view, money is a representation of relationship; by purchasing a ticket at a price that fits within your personal capacity, you are investing in a culture of gift economy which enables queer leadership, radical authenticity and collective care.

? Keep in mind

? Wear what feels true and celebratory for you that enables freedom of movement. Whether you’re arriving in full colour or quiet presence, you are warmly welcome! Please keep genitals covered in common spaces.

? This is a sober space: we invite you to join the party mindfully, with care & intention, and without alcohol or other consciousness-altering substances.

?Intimacy is celebrated! At Zoirée we intentionally create a shared culture of consent and mutual care, and invite conscious and caring communication. The Love Nook is available as a clothing-optional, sex-positive space for cuddles, intimacy and connections of all flavours.

? FAQs

Who is this for?:
Zoirée is a queer-centred event. That means we centre queer culture, creativity, and connection in the design and intention. At the same time, we warmly welcome all people—regardless of identity—who feel resonant and respectful within a queer space. If that feels like you, join us!

What do you mean by “queer” and “queerness”?:
Queerness refers to that radiantly unique and beautiful part of yourself (and of all people) that is free from societal conditioning and open to the vastness of human expression, joy, and creativity. The archetypal energy of the universe that dwells on the edges, drives evolution, and powers original creation. And the freedom to love whoever you want, wherever you want, passionately, openly and free from fear. Yay!

Is this part of Ignite Festival?:
Zoirée is not an official Ignite Festival event, though we’re proud to share a venue and weekend alongside it. We’re inspired by Ignite Festival’s work in cultivating safe and sensual spaces for embodiment and connection. Zoirée is rooted in those same values and welcomes people of all genders, bodies, and identities into the experience, without identity-based boundaries.
